Thomas N. Bateman
Thomas N. “Neal” Bateman’s law practice began as a general practice handling all types of legal matters. Mr. Bateman has extensive experience in civil litigation including several cases which resulted in settlements of more than one million dollars. Mr. Bateman represented the families of two victims of the Arrow Air crash in Gander, Newfoundland. He has successfully represented plaintiffs in many types of civil matters including antitrust, securities fraud, lender liability, employment discrimination and personal injury claims.
Thomas N. Bateman is a former licensed certified public accountant (now inactive). This background allowed him to establish an extensive practice in the area of estate planning, estate settlements, business law and tax matters. He routinely handles multi-million-dollar estate settlements.
Mr. Bateman’s practice currently focuses primarily on three areas: civil litigation, estate planning and settlement, and business matters. His civil litigation practice includes handling personal injury claims, divorces involving substantial amounts of property or business interests, and business litigation.
